Dr. Jibran Rana, a board-certified interventional cardiologist, has joined Morris Hospital Cardiovascular Specialists. He will see patients at three locations: Dwight, Morris, and Ottawa.
Dr. Rana is available to treat a variety of cardiac and vascular conditions such as heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmias, heart failure, peripheral artery disease, valvular disease, cardiomyopathy, and congenital heart disease.
He performs advanced procedures in the catheterization laboratory at Morris Hospital. These include angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions, and endovascular therapies.
Dr. Rana received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in Las Vegas. He also completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and another fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. His training focused on advanced coronary and peripheral interventions as well as structural heart therapies.
He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
