Brick & Ivy Coffee Co. opens in Channahon-Minooka with support from local chamber

Brick & Ivy Coffee Co. has opened its doors at 27754 Bluegrass Dr. Unit H, on the border of Channahon and Minooka. The coffee shop is owned by Logan and Camryn Deadmond.

Logan Deadmond described the business as "an independent coffee shop that aims to provide a cozy, vibrant place for great people and great coffee." Brick & Ivy offers high quality coffee, baked goods, food, and a family-friendly environment. The menu also features alternative options for those who do not drink coffee and for families with children.

The shop plans to host seasonal events and a “Brick & Ivy After-Dark” series outside regular hours. Updates about these events are available on their Facebook page. By summer, the owners hope to introduce Kyoto-style cold brew methods to expand their offerings.

In October, the Channahon-Minooka/Grundy County Chamber marked the opening of Brick & Ivy with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by village officials, Chamber Ambassadors, and members.

Chamber President & CEO Christina Van Yperen said, "We are so excited for the Channahon-Minooka area to have such a welcoming spot serving delicious coffee and so much more. The Brick & Ivy team has worked hard to create a place not only for your daily coffee, but where you are comfortable hanging out and inviting others."
