Dr. Anthony Leazzo has been appointed as the Chief Medical Officer at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers. In this leadership role, Dr. Leazzo will act as a liaison between the medical staff and hospital leadership to ensure collaboration, compliance with standards, and high-quality patient care.
Dr. Leazzo brings extensive experience from previous roles, including Medical Director for Northwestern Medicine Physician Network and Chairman of the Family Medicine Department in Geneva, Illinois. He also served as Clinic Medical Director at Concentra in Bloomingdale and has 20 years of experience in family and sports medicine.

Dr. Leazzo graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Michigan, followed by a fellowship at Michigan State University. He holds an MBA from the University of Arizona Eller Management School and is pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Population Health Management from Johns Hopkins University. His military service includes time as a Lieutenant Commander and General Medical Officer in the United States Navy.
