Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers in Morris, Illinois, has been awarded an 'A' grade in the fall 2024 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. This recognition is given to hospitals that excel in preventing medical errors and patient harm. The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog organization, assigns these grades based on over 30 performance measures related to errors, accidents, injuries, and infections. The grading system is updated biannually and is available to the public.

"Delivering quality, safe care to patients requires a commitment from everyone in the organization," said Landers. She emphasized efforts such as reducing infection rates and maintaining strong communication lines between staff and patients.
Landers also praised the hospital team for their dedication: “We’re extremely proud of our entire team for their commitment to keeping patients safe from preventable harm and medical errors.”
