Enrollment Analysis: Hispanic students comprised 14.4% of Three Rivers School’s student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 38 Hispanic students enrolled in Three Rivers School in the 2022-23 school year, 9.5% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that the school welcomed 264 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 14.4% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.

The school is located in Channahon School District 17 with a central office in Channahon.

Among the four schools in Channahon School District 17, N.B. Galloway Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 375 students.

Illinois registered one of the largest enrollment drops during the pandemic. Since 2020, the Prarie State lost nearly 118,000 students, further intensifying a decline trend established since 2013.
