Seventeen healthcare providers from Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers have been acknowledged for their exceptional quality of care by Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC). This recognition is based on the percentage of patients who rated their provider as "excellent" in the 2024 patient surveys.
Among those recognized, Dr. Mary Fitzgibbon, Dr. Hadi Hedayati, Dr. Mary Menz, and Dr. Stephen Treacy received the “Top Performer” award. This award is PRC's highest honor, given to those scoring at the 100th percentile compared to other physicians in their specialty within PRC’s national client database. Notably, this marks Dr. Hedayati’s third consecutive Top Performer award.
Additionally, fourteen providers were honored with 5-Star Excellence in Healthcare awards for ranking in the top 10% of PRC’s database regarding overall quality of care. The recipients include Dr. Hetal Amin, Dr. Peter Analytis, Sarah Bojak, Dr. Andrea Chen, Dr. Charles Comfort, Lacey Carls and Carrie Lopez, Sherri Davis, Jennifer Frye, Dr. Kyle Pearson, Dr. Deena Raval, and cardiologists Drs. Athar Saeed and Hershel Wix.
Morris Hospital itself was awarded eighteen additional 5-Star Excellence in Healthcare patient experience awards from PRC based on the same survey results from 2024. These included accolades for Family Birthing Suites under Inpatient OB/GYN Services and Outpatient Surgery Services.
In specific outpatient clinic categories such as Primary Care Services and Specialty Care Services, various locations including Gardner and Marseilles clinics received recognition alongside Morris Hospital Allergy Specialists and Orthopedics & Sports Medicine offices.
Jacquie Secrest from Morris Hospital stated that “The Excellence in Healthcare awards are very significant,” noting that only those scoring in the top 10% nationally receive such recognition.
Secrest further commented on the impact these awards have on perceptions of care quality: “Our award winners are leading the way when it comes to patients’ perception of the quality of care.”
