MORRIS – Brianna Lynn’s Boutique, a staple in downtown Morris, is celebrating its 35th anniversary this May. The store, run by Maureen Headrick and her daughter Monica Brehm, has been providing fine women's apparel and accessories at 215 Liberty St. since its inception.
The boutique will host several events from May 29 to May 31 to mark the occasion. "It is our love for the business, our appreciation for our customers and the friends we make with them that continues to keep us going after all these years," Brehm stated. She also credited their loyal customers and dedicated staff for making Brianna Lynn’s a special place.
Events include a French Dressing Jeans fit clinic on May 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a Brighton Jewelry Trunk Show on May 30 during the same hours. On May 31, there will be a Sourdough & Granola Baked Goods Pop-Up Shop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees can enjoy refreshments, vendor giveaways, special discounts, and free gifts with purchases throughout the celebration days.
Brianna Lynn’s offers sizes ranging from 2-20 in misses and petite categories and features brands like Brighton accessories, Tribal sportswear, French Dressing Jeans, Joseph Ribkoff among others. They also provide professional alteration services.
A notable initiative of Brianna Lynn’s is its Gold Card Program where customers donate $5 to Breast Cancer Research in exchange for benefits such as monthly discounts and exclusive event invitations. This program has helped raise significant funds over the years according to Headrick.
Christina Van Yperen, Chamber President & CEO remarked on the boutique's success: “Brianna Lynn’s is a destination store in downtown Morris... It’s no wonder they have been open 35 years and are continuing to go strong.”
The boutique operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and extends hours during holiday seasons.
Headrick affirmed their commitment: “We plan to continue to provide quality, on-trend apparel and accessories...and work with other retailers to promote our wonderful downtown.”
