The Morris Hospital Auxiliary is set to host its 55th Anniversary Gala on February 8 at Jennifer’s Garden in Morris. The event aims to raise funds for cardiac care at Morris Hospital.
The evening will commence with cocktails and a silent auction at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 7:00 p.m. Items up for bid include trips, tickets to Chicago sporting events, and other unique offerings. The night will conclude with music and dancing, with black tie attire being optional.
Hannah Wehrle, the Morris Hospital Auxiliary & Foundation Officer, emphasized the importance of the gala's proceeds. "Cardiovascular disease affects many families in our local communities," Wehrle stated. She highlighted that contributions from donors allow Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers to provide advanced cardiovascular care locally through programs like the cardiac catheterization lab and Rhythm of Our Youth screening program.
Tickets for the gala are priced at $175 per person, with seating arranged in tables of ten. Various sponsorship levels are available, with notable sponsors including the Morris Hospital Medical Staff as Presenting Sponsor and Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care as Diamond Sponsor.
Interested attendees are encouraged to make reservations by January 27 via morrishospital.org/gala or by contacting Kelly Barry in the Morris Hospital Auxiliary office. Donations are also accepted from those unable to attend but wishing to support cardiac care initiatives.
