The Grundy County Chamber and the City of Morris have officially welcomed Dr. Jamie Sikora and Southwest Hearing Solutions with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on December 16.
“I absolutely love my job as an audiologist. Every day, I get the privilege of helping people reconnect with the world of sound, improving their quality of life in ways that are both deeply rewarding and impactful,” Sikora expressed in a news release. “The ability to make a difference in someone’s life, whether it’s through diagnosing hearing issues or fitting them with life-changing hearing aids, is something I’m truly passionate about. It’s not just a job—it’s a calling that brings me joy, fulfillment, and a sense of purpose.”
Southwest Hearing Solutions operates from the Morris Business & Technology Center located at 1802 N. Division St., Suite 218 in Morris. Owned by Sikora, who has over 25 years of experience in clinical audiology, the facility offers various services including comprehensive audiological evaluations for all ages, impedance testing, otoacoustic emissions testing, hearing aids and accessories, hearing aid repairs for all brands, tinnitus management, and custom earplugs for different needs.
Chamber President & CEO Christina Van Yperen commented on Sikora's approach: “Dr. Sikora provides hearing healthcare for all and does so while making sure the patient feels safe, secure, and that their needs are truly being met. We are thrilled to have her as a part of our Chamber.”
The establishment aims to engage residents actively by offering ongoing education and ensuring thorough hearing healthcare. Dr. Sikora elaborated on her vision: “I plan to create an environment where residents are actively involved in the care process, empowering them with knowledge and resources to take charge of their hearing health. Above all, I am committed to providing whole hearing healthcare that is accessible, inclusive, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of every individual.”
