Dr. Joseph Kokoszka, a general and colorectal surgeon with more than two decades of practice in Ottawa, has relocated his office from Norris Drive to the Morris Hospital Ottawa Campus at 1306 Gemini Circle, Suite 2. Patients can now reach his new office by calling 815-364-8927.
With this move, Dr. Kokoszka will now perform surgeries exclusively at Morris Hospital, where he has been a member of the medical staff since 2001. He will also continue to see patients at the Morris Medical Center at 1600 W. U.S. Route 6 in Morris. The phone number for appointments at both locations is now 815-364-8927.
Dr. Kokoszka is now a participating provider in all health insurance plans accepted by Morris Hospital. Information about these plans is available on the hospital’s website at https://www.morrishospital.org/insurance.
Dr. Kokoszka graduated from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, completed his residency in general surgery at University of Illinois Chicago, and received fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Cook County Hospital. He holds board certification from the American Board of Surgery.
His clinical practice covers a variety of conditions such as appendicitis, hernias, gallstones, bowel obstructions, colon and rectal diseases, gastric ulcers, pancreatitis, breast conditions, as well as skin and soft tissue growths and tumors.
