May 8, 2025, MORRIS, IL – The Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers Board of Directors has announced the appointment of new board officers and a new member. Noreen Dollinger will serve as the Board Chair, Kevin Olsen as Vice Chair, Steve Banghart as Treasurer, and Dr. Pat Halloran as Secretary. Dr. Mary Fitzgibbon joins as the newest member of the board.

Board members at Morris Hospital serve voluntarily to provide oversight and governance to ensure quality care and strategic direction. They also oversee hospital policies, financial matters, and adherence to the hospital's mission. Current board members nominate individuals for these positions.

Dr. Fitzgibbon has been part of Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers since 2021 after practicing in Joliet for 17 years. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed a four-year residency in obstetrics & gynecology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Currently serving as President of the Morris Hospital Medical Staff until the end of 2025, she brings significant experience to her new role on the board.

Board Chair Noreen Dollinger expressed confidence in Fitzgibbon's contributions: “Dr. Fitzgibbon brings a wealth of knowledge and years of clinical experience to our board. She is analytical, thoughtful, and highly respected. Her insight will be invaluable as we continue to advance our quality goals,” said Dollinger.

Other members on the Morris Hospital & Healthcare Board include Dave Bzdill, Brian Angwin, Dr. Maxime Gilles, Janis Hedenschoug, Dr. Gina Hulbert, Dr. Michael Jachec, and Michelle Pruim.

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers operates from 28 locations including an 89-bed hospital with physician offices across several communities such as Braidwood and Channahon among others.
