Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers has been recognized with the Wellness Alliance's Silver Well Workplace Award. This acknowledgment is granted to companies that actively support their employees' wellness and promote overall well-being.

"Our mission is about improving the health of area residents, and that includes our employees, who are also part of the community," stated Becca Evola, Wellness Manager at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers. "Having healthy employees also allows us to take better care of our patients."

The hospital received this accolade after successfully completing a 150-question application. This application highlighted Morris Hospital's alignment with the Wellness Council of America's 7 Benchmarks model. The hospital emphasized its comprehensive employee wellness strategy, incorporating their wellness incentive program, annual biometric screening, fitness membership benefits, a YMCA partnership, and more.

"We are incredibly honored to receive the Well Workplace Award," Evola added. "In addition to validating that we are taking an impactful and innovative approach to employee wellness, the award indicates that Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is a leader among employers when it comes to employee wellness."

Operating from 28 locations, Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers stands as the largest employer in Grundy County, with more than 1,500 employees.
