The Village of Channahon announced on December 23 that Canadian National Railway (CN) will host a public open house at Minooka High School on January 14, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m.
According to the notice posted on Facebook by the village, the open house will focus on the proposed Chicago Logistic Hub Intermodal Facility off Route 6 in Channahon. It is noted that there will be no formal presentation or actions at the event.
The notification also mentions that participants can come and go as they please during the three-hour event. Attendees are welcome to examine exhibits and speak with CN representatives about the project and any questions or concerns.
Channahon Village further said on Facebook that the event is unaffiliated with and unsanctioned by the Village of Channahon.
